William LaFayette, Chief Financial Officer
William LaFayette is Chief Financial Officer of Spring Ridge Ventures. He started his career in 1994 with Arthur Andersen LLP, specializing in tax planning for venture capital and private equity firms. In 2000, he became the Director of Finance with Hellman & Friedman, and is now the founder and principal of William D. LaFayette, CPA, a consulting firm specializing in providing accounting and tax advice to venture capital firms, private equity firms, and their portfolio companies.
Bill focuses on developing the financial infrastructure needed in early stage companies. He is adept at coordinating the efforts of both the founders of the portfolio company and the venture fund managers.
Bill has a B.S. in accounting from the University of Southern California and is a California Certified Public Accountant.
